Daniel Beer focuses his law practice on wrongful death and significant personal injury cases, business torts and select construction litigation.
Daniel grew up in Marietta, Georgia, and graduated from Sprayberry High School in 2004. Daniel then attended the University of Georgia were he double majored in Political Science and History and graduated from the UGA Honors Program. Daniel attended the University of Georgia School of Law and obtained his law degree in 2011.
After law school, Daniel spent five years at a national litigation firm based in Atlanta defending property managers and owners, trucking companies, construction companies, real estate loan servicers and insurance companies in complex litigation throughout the nation. During that time period, Daniel obtained crucial legal experience and mentoring but felt emotionally unfulfilled with his chosen career path as a defense attorney. In the winter of 2014, Daniel had a chance encounter with Jeff Shiver and Alan Hamilton. In subsequent conversations with Jeff and Alan about their law firm’s goals, drive and values, Daniel realized his true calling was to use his legal experience to help individuals and families facing tragedies, and he joined Shiver Hamilton in the spring of 2015. Daniel made partner in 2019.
