$4,000,000 Settlement – Bicycle vs. Commercial Vehicle Collision

Shiver Hamilton Campbell recently settled a case arising out of collision between a commercial vehicle and cyclist. The commercial vehicle turned left in front of our client who had the right of way causing significant orthopedic injuries. SHC’s investigation revealed three insurance policies of $1,000,000 or more for a total of $4,000,000 of coverage. SHC prepared a detailed demand package with witness statements to show the insurance company the commercial vehicle was at fault, medical records, and bills as well as information about our trial results. All three insurance companies agreed to pay their policy limits instead of litigating the case.
