$500,000 Settlement – Motor Vehicle Accident

In 2013, Plaintiff was injured in a motor vehicle accident in Oconee County. The at-fault driver failed to yield after stopping at a stop sign. Plaintiff’s vehicle was totaled and he began months of extensive treatment for his neck, back and groin pain. He had surgery for a cervical disc herniation at C6-7 and incurred over $200,000 in medical expenses. Despite our attempts to settle the case twice at mediation, we continued to push forward with trial. A week before trial, the parties settled the case for $500,000.
